About the Illustrator

Welcome, and thank you for taking a moment to glimpse into my precious little world.

I am a Freelance Illustrator based from my studio on the beautiful Suffolk Coast. I have, coming up to two decades of professional experience, and I hold both a B.A(hons) in design and an M.A Illustration.

I like to think of my work as being versatile, energetic, evocative, and often a little quirky. I love exploring ideas through a mix of techniques and media- from traditional materials to digital processes. I take great pride in bringing a thoughtful approach to every project, crafting ideas that feel lively, distinctive and full of character making every commission unique.

When not in the studio, my life is blessed with so many interests! Time spent with friends and family is always cherished.

History and mythology are two of my favourite subjects, I love to travel with my wife, using such experiences to fuel my inspiration. I can never be outdoors enough. I enjoy walking, kayaking, and generally enjoying nature as much as possible. I love to read books of many different genres, and I am a little bit of a movie buff, particularly from the 1980’s (it’s great to be retro!!).
